Thanks to Our Donors and Sponsors
Thanks to you!
Thanks to you, our donors and sponsors, as well as the many organizations awarding grants, for your generous contributions to help us continue in our work and fulfill our mission. Because creativity is a vital force across all ages, backgrounds, and economic levels, the mission of Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is to promote the creative and performing arts from its optimal location in Stafford County to the greater Fredericksburg community and surrounding regions. Riverside presents theatrical productions, nurtures an array of artists, and offers transformative educational programs as it conducts community outreach programs in a collaborative and dynamic environment. This work would not be possible without your generosity.

In our almost first full year as a nonprofit, we have started to develop long terms goals and visions for our beloved theatre – and we’ve been blessed by grants and contributors who want to help us! Specifically, since going nonprofit, we have received the following grants:
The Duff McDuff Green, Jr. Fund of the Community Foundation, awarded $7,500, almost entirely funding this year’s Annual Summer Camp, thereby increasing our scholarship participants by more than double previous years’ numbers.
RCPA received a $25,000 grant from the Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) Marketing Leverage Program (MLP) to do our part to increase Virginia tourism. In total, VTC awarded more than $3.27 million for 268 local and regional tourism marketing programs across the state to help increase visitation and revenue for Virginia’s localities through tourism.
We’ve received $20,000 in grants from the AWS InCommunities Fredericksburg Regional Fund, supported by AWS and ChangeX, to give tackle our accessibility goals (i.e., giving our websites an accessibility facelift and creating a Sensory-Friendly production infrastructure; #AWSInCommunities.
Other long-term vision and goals such as revitalizing our Children’s Theatre are being supported in part by a generous donation from a frequent patron, the Elmon B. Duff Family via the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond.
