Three's Company alum Joyce DeWitt will star in On Golden Pond at Riverside Dinner Theater
The actress will star as Ethel Thayer in the play “On Golden Pond,” which opens at the Riverside Dinner Theater Oct. 4. The role was made famous by Katharine Hepburn, who played Ethel in the 1981 film. The play was written by Ernest Thompson, who also penned the screenplay.

Riverside Center proudly announces our upcoming production of On Gold Pond will feature Joyce Dewitt, from TV’s Three’s Company fame, as Ethel Thayer. Dewitt will be joined on the Riverside stage by television, movie, and theatre actor, Joe Inscoe in the role of Norman Thayer.
*John Davidson, originally cast in the role of Norman Thayer, will not be appearing in our production as he has joined the cast of the Finding Neverland national tour. We wish John all the best.

Sandwich-maker Greencore, Riverside theater win Stafford business awards
The Stafford County Cornerstone Business award was given to Riverside Center for the Performing Arts, which recently celebrated 20 years and set attendance records last year with 50,000 guests.
“For a theater to stay in existence for 20 years is extraordinary,” said Patrick Ahearn, producing artistic director. “We want to be around for another 40, if not more.”
Stafford Celebrates Business at Appreciation Reception
The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts received the 2017 Cornerstone Business Award. The newly renovated Riverside Center is 36,000 square feet of dinner theater and conference facility. They received their award for their 20 year legacy of entertainment and success. As the region’s largest tourist attraction, Riverside is a mid-Atlantic destination for performing arts, special events, business meetings and classes for children.
