[Free Lance-Star] Letter: Experience Broadway in Virginia
The current production of “Ragtime” at the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts in Fredericksburg is one of the best shows we’ve seen anywhere. The entire production is Broadway caliber, including the large, talented cast, singing, acting, dancing, live orchestra and elaborate set. The classic story is extremely moving and strikingly relevant to current issues facing our country. It focuses on three divergent families and how their lives converge over time. “Ragtime” is beautifully executed and is something special and memorable.

Letter: Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is a local gem
Riverside Center is a local gem
Just over the river in Stafford, within sight of Interstate 95 in a quiet business park, musical theater to rival the best in the country is on stage five days a week at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts.
[FLS - Letter to the Editor] Don’t miss ‘Bright Star’ at Riverside
Don’t miss “Bright Star.” Kudos to Riverside Center for the Performing Arts, its cast, orchestra and artistic director for lifting the spirits of this audience member. The food was great, too.
Thank you for bringing the theater back after too long an absence.
[FLS - Letter to the Editor] Go see 'Bright Star' at Riverside

[Free Lance-Star] LETTER: Riverside Theater is a vital part of our community
Riverside Theater is a vital part of our community
The sun is indeed shining at Riverside Theater for the Performing Arts!
I have been a patron since 2005 and have enjoyed many productions, observing firsthand Riverside’s growth and development. As a member of the Riverside Foundation for the Performing Arts, I give credit for this mainstay of Fredericksburg culture to Patrick A’Hearn, the theater’s producing artistic director.
Letter to the Editor: "Quasimodo moving in show at Riverside"
No words are adequate to describe the moving performance of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at Riverside Dinner Theater.
It was genius to have the actor playing Quasimodo walk forward on stage as himself—a tall handsome young man—talking about his character, putting on the hunchback shirt, tousling his hair, leaning downward and loping across the stage, then speaking in the voice of the horribly disfigured cripple.
Letter to the Editor: "Riverside show a treat in all respects"
On Thursday evening, my wife and I and another couple had the great pleasure of attending a spectacular performance of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at the Riverside Dinner Theater.
This production is based on the classic Victor Hugo novel, and is highly theatrical and entertaining. The cast, along with the Stafford Regional Choral Society, provided a most professional and entertaining production.
