Riverside Center for the Performing Arts presents MAMMA MIA!

The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts in Fredericksburg, Virginia is excited to be the first regional theater in the metropolitan area to present Mamma Mia, starring Betsy Padamonsky as Donna Sheridan. Located at 95 Riverside Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA, performances begin on January 10th and run until Sunday March 4th.

The smash hit musical based on the songs of Swedish super-group ABBA, makes its regional premiere at Riverside. This international hit sensation has played to over 60 million people globally and its fans have fallen in love with the characters, charming story and ABBA's timeless music. The story unfolds on a Greek island paradise when on the eve of her wedding, a young woman's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited twenty years ago. Packed with ABBA hit song's such as "Dancing Queen," "Knowing Me Knowing You," "Take A Chance on Me," "SOS," 'The Winner Takes It All," and the title song, this show is sure to get the crowds up and dancing.

Riverside Center Producing Artistic Director, Patrick A'Hearn, has assembled an outstanding cast and production team. No stranger to the role of Donna, Betsy just returned from the Broadway farewell tour. She is joined by Grey Garrett as Tanya and Andrea Kahane as Rosie. The principal cast also includes Alan Hoffman (Harry Bright), Gabe Belyeu (Bill Austin), Kevin Perry (Sam Carmichael), Makenzie Mercer, (Sophie), Luke Monday (Sky), Christina Ramsey (Ali), Patricia Targete (Lisa), Calvin Malone (Eddie) and Colton Montgomery (Pepper). The ensemble includes Kathy Halenda, Ian Lane, Colby Leroy, Andrew Prowant, Candace Shedd-Thompson and Stephanie Wood.

The production is being directed and choreographed by Penny Ayn Maas with music direction by Carson Eubank. The creative team also includes Daniel Willis (scenic design), Winfield Murdock (costume design), Michael Jarret (lighting design), Bethany Galyen (sound design), and Brittan Benedict is the Production Stage Manager.

Evening performances take place at 7:30pm with dinner service beginning at 5:30 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Matinee performances take place at 1:30 pm with dinner service at 11:30 am on Wednesday and 3:00 pm on Sunday with dinner service beginning at 1:00 pm.
